Lady Boss-Alanna Blair
Here at Flynn&King, it's clear we love creating and promoting green beauty and a non-toxic lifestyle, but are also very passionate about helping our community in need. With our DO GOOD COLLABS, we donate funds and products to local charities and business who do good. We wanted to create a blog dedicated to featuring other women who inspire us with their charitable and health conscious actions. They fall in line with Flynn&King's motto to Do Good. Look Great. and we're happy to give a shoutout to some of our favorite lady bosses!
Today's featured Lady Boss is Alanna Blair, activist, actor, DJ, musician, and all around badass! She just so happens to be one of the sweetest people on the planet as well. As an activist for female inclusion in the arts, she's a member of pro-fem artist groups like DNB Girls, Art Girl Army and FEMALE:Pressure. As an animal activist, she fosters and rehabilitates cats and kittens from the NYC streets and is a certified member of the ASPCA's Trap-Neuter-Return program.
As an actor, she pushes for projects that highlight society's most vulnerable, like her newest character Anna, a recovering heroin addict, in the upcoming webseries Spring Street, available now on YouTube. As a stunt performer, she's taken the fall in shows like Blue Bloods, Power, and makes a cameo in Concrete and Crashpads.
As the DJ Bulletproof Tiger NYC, she spins bass music and breakbeats, often with her amazing partner Billy Deez as TankTop NYC. As a musician she rocks bass guitar and vocals, with past projects like SABABA Rocksyourfaceoff and keep an eye out for her future music venture, the spacey duo Sleep Tank.
Alanna's skincare motto is that natural beauty involves being true to yourself, and living without limits. You can discover more badassery from Alanna from the links below and please consider volunteering or donating to one of her worthy causes.
